Step 1

              Turn on your Desire HD               

• Reach up to the top of the device.
• Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

• Your device should now be on.
• If it doesn’t turn on:
• Make sure you held the power button long enough.
• Connect the charger (The battery may be flat)
• Make sure a battery is present in the battery slot.
• If all else fails, refer to instruction manual or contact HTC Customer support.

Your device should now be on.

To turn the device off: 1. Unlock the Device 2. Hold the power button (3 secs) 3. Tap on the “Power Off” Button
